My idea is to give players the possibility of creating mods. There are many games that have great communities and keep selling copies and gathering new players because of that. For example: Terraria. It is a very good game, it is complete and gives you a lot of things to do. Re-Logic is going to update Terraria for the last time in 2020, and many years have passed since 1.3.5 (actual version of Terraria), the game is still played due to the mod-making community. Terraria got some great mods such as Overhaul, Thorium or Calamity. Those completely change the game experience making it much more fun when you're up with the Vanilla game.
another example is RimWorld. Ludeon Studios often update the game, but they don't actually add new content. RimWorld is a great game by itself, and if you didn't have enough with the vanilla experience there's a thousand of mods to download, those being available in steam workshop, making so much easier to players to find and test them.
So maybe if we had the possibility to create at least custom accesories or weapons, I think it could be a great upgrade to the game and the community, let me know your oppinion below.
PD: I'm not saying the game isn't good enough, please do not minsunderstand me.
