When map voting is off, the game randomly picks a map from the chosen map category.
If on, We vote as we do.

This actually isn’t a bad idea. Similar to CSGO’s auto pick weapon feature. I feel like with votes though, it’s important for the flow of the map making, so not sure.

Auto pickup in cs is just grabbing a weapon on the ground automatically if you dont have one in that inventory slot, so i dont know how you draw the comparison, but yeah i agree this isn't a bad idea at all
