Weapon idea: Bow and arrow
As the title says, I got a idea for a weapon :
Bow and arrow
You have to strech the bow before shooting, which costs stamina
If you NOT fully strech it before shooting its arc will be much greater
You can keep the bow streched, also costs stamina
Arrows get stuck in the wall and can be re-obtained or used to climb
If a player gets hit, the arrow is visible in his body, causing a weak bleeding effect, getting stronger if the player sprints or jumps
Damage could be relatively high, around 30-40 hp per shot, critical chance 40-50%, rarity like the magnum
Bow and arrow

We may add a bow at some point, call it a stretch goal. Feel free to discuss what other unique properties it should have

How about, if a arrow flies through fire, it will burn and setting everything it touches on fire
If a arrow hits metal it breaks instend of getting stuck in the wall
Arrows can be used as an makeshift melee weapon

On a critical hit, the arrow penetrates the enemy
If he stands next to a wall and takes a crit, he will get nailed on the wall
If he tries to free himself, the bleeding gets stronger
He can only get away if he tabs block really fast

I like the idea except for the bleeding part cause bleeding is not added to the game and if it is then the regular weapons would have to make you bleed too. Also how would I take the arrow off if I'm struct with it?

'I agree with Elite. We shouldn't have bleeding since: "...the regular weapons would have to make you bleed too." which would make gunfights really easy to deal with, which isn't fun. Whoever gets the first hit with the gun will obviously win, since the enemy is just going to bleed into low health or to death. Bleeding is only in scripts, which is a good thing for most cases, but as of right now, let's hope it isn't added. Right..?

I feel like something more of a hunting crossbow would be a lot more ideal in this game than a typical bow. Does the same damage as the carbine but has the accuracy and shot delay of the sniper.
Well, either that or a compound bow. I just think crossbows look cooler.

Idk if bows should be added, but here are some ideas! ^-^
Some credit to Pricy for helping out!
BOWS
1. Bows should have a pull back animation
2. Like a charge shot, so the longer you hold AKA pull back the farther the arrow goes and deals more damage (1.2 sec full charge)
3. Arrow drop the farther the arrow goes
4. On pickup you have 6 arrows and you only can shoot one at a time (ammo display -> 1|6)

5. A fast reload time because you have to reload after each shot (balances bows & cool animation would be needed)
6. 35 damage full charge (crit 60%) 30 damage full charge (body) REMEMBER THE PULLBACK/CHARGE THING
7. Quiver? (Ammo pickup)
8. Explosive arrows? (Rare pickup)
9. When getting shot by an arrow it gets stuck on your body, maybe afterwards the arrow can be picked up and reused
(Would be funny seeing arrows sticking out of people and dead players on the ground. A arrow sticking up there... ASS SHOTZ)
10. Arrows move slower than bullets
11. When deflected instead of flying back at the shooter, it would just drop down
12. Drawing the bow costs stamina
13. The more velocity = more damage (so when the arrow curves more when shot, it does more damage)

(This is a bow in Brawlhalla wich looks like the other one, and looks cool too)

And crossbows are cool too! They are like bows, but much stronger, and need more time to reload.
(This one's Darryl Dixon's (from The Walking Dead) crossbow)

BTW, if you do make bows AND crossbows, make it so that the arrows work the same for the two of them please.
