We all sometimes need to quickly change the position of our cover Without giving it damage so that it takes some more hits from your foe before it breaks which might sometimes save your life. Right now, Kicking your cover is the only way you can change its position Without giving it alot of damage. But even that little bit of damage you inflicted when you kicked it might change the stakes. So i suggest having a new way to move probs without giving them damage at all. And one idea i thought about was being able to... Push probs somehow? (this is not what the topic is about, the topic is about being able to move cover Without damaging it; feel free to give out your ideas) Or maybe being able to pick them up and place them?

I see what you mean it would be good to have a way to push your cover forward.(I had an idea for a SWAT shield that I never posted about where u walk as slow as you would picking up a corpse when blocking with it. felt it would go good witht he shock baton and the metro law bois)

I personally can find a way to do this unless maybe they make it so u can grab boxes by holding Down and Grab like a corpse, and when you do this u sort of get behind the box with your arms on it and u can move side to side freely (but slowly depending on how heavy the object is)

barrel-normal
explosive barrel- heavy(why would u do this? way too dangerous)
desk(s)- Heavy
crates- I thought maybe 2 players together could push a crate but Very slowly

See: Since the majority of the thread isn't about picking objects up but rather moving them without damaging them (slightly different means to move objects) I won't move your post. Do keep in mind this is something people have already suggested in the past, though.

I do at times think it is stupid that the only way to move objects is to kick or punch it, however that’s just the nature of SFD. Would it make more sense to add a feature like this? Yes. Would it be a good addition? I don’t know.

Actually, I had the exact same idea of pressing down & grab to hold a crate. But i just thought that this might lead to some epic mistakes that can screw you up. So, I am still not used to not being able to grab a knocked down player. (correct me if i'm wrong) Imagine that you knocked someone down and tried to grab immediately, But unfortunately, Your grab passes before they get up. Now if there's a crate in front of you, You should train your reflexes to drop any crate grabbed by mistake.
