No. It's purpose is mainly to prevent pointless, non-constructive responses to topics. See rule 8 in the forum rules.
We had many comments whose single purpose was to like another post or idea in the past so we added the "Like" button.
If you have another opinion in some matter you should write a comment explaining why some idea is good or bad because of X and Y (and how it might affect the game in a positive or negative way if it's about SFD). Then people can like your comment (instead of disliking an idea).
