The story of your name

DragnFruit goes way back, at least 6 years back when I played Pokemon with my friends in elementary and middle school. I used to name all of my grass type starters "DragnFruit" because one: I thought it sounded cool as fuck, and two: I couldn't fit the "o" in Dragon.

To tell you the truth, I don't know why I named my SFD character DragnFruit. Whenever I came up with a new name besides DragnFruit I got tired of it and ended up settling with my present name. When I started out SFD for the first month or so I chose the name Cider, but I ended up going back to DragnFruit.
It's by far the shittiest name I've ever made. It looks fucking dumb. It sounds fucking dumb. But I have such a connection with the name that I can't let it go so easily. It was the only name I felt comfortable settling with at the time.

I've already came up with better suited names that are SFD-related but changing my name from DragnFruit now is kind of pointless. It's just stuck for so long that even if it were changed I'd still be referred to as Dragn by so many players. The name fits I guess, so why would I change it?

I also attempted to go back to my Cider roots by getting the name changed on the LM clan page along with a couple of other members, but it's not even that big of a deal now. Almost all of the clanmates refer to me as my real name, Hunter, and I barely play SFD as my LM persona. I guess you'll see it pulled out when we have official clan wars or serious LM servers but when the fuck do we do those anymore amirite

So yeah, names used to matter but matter way less now. Call me Dragn, Hunter, Cider, I don't care as much as I used to.

some time later i found game called... guess what? FTL i felt pretty bad BUT game is actually pretty good

Weeell, I dont know how i can explain. I like to play chess, and im pretty good, so terms suco as King, Queen, Pawn, stays up in my mind, but the first time i used this nickname was when I played an hack simulador app, and im searched for a scary name, like "whoa, deadlypawn hacked me".

I started to play Superfighters Deluxe, playin just in servers of my country, with the nickname Zorro, but I usually being kicked because, I dont know, the hosters think that I am spanish to say "jajajaj". I changed my nickname to DeadlyPawn and i become respected in that servers, so, I think Ill use this nickname in sfd all time.

Few years ago, I needed a name - other than my real name - for gaming. I thought about something tough and original, something after my taste and fantasy. I liked mafia gangster shit, so the direction was set. It was supposed to fit into the SFD universe, with the guns, melee and the cover (my favorite feature when I discovered SF). After some minutes, I simply picked my favorite color and added that blunt shot behind it.
Blackshot the mf 'round the block.

I got into it, developed an identity, a character that inspired me before the name even existed. His personality developed with the experiences I made. Now I use it in every game that has a portion of guns, action or crime in it.
