Well, not much have happened since the last status update except the drone nerf update v.1.3.6b. Drone down! Drone down!
So, what's happening?
I'm currently focusing on getting a driving license for a motorcycle (motorcycle go brrr!). This have taken a lot of my spare time this year and will continue to do so the coming two months. After that I will continue to spend time on our new project and most likely a little bit on SFD (mostly fixing bugs). I'm still tinkering with SFD when I feel like it during this period as I don't have the time needed to fully engage myself in our new project right now.
After spending over 8 years working on SFD it's kinda nice to lower the time spent on it to a minimum while doing some other things. It's like a vacation and starting working on the new project later on will hopefully be a fresh fun start again (and we won't use the box2D engine for that project).
Hjarpe is also working on his stand-alone Filcher game.

The main reason why we won't use the box2D engine in our next game is because we don't want that overlap-resolve float-point-inprecision engine causing a lot of funky jank we have in SFD today.
