Right now there isn't an easy solution to make a bot shoot but if you have the perseverance you can do you own code for aiming and shooting the player (and I think you could be a bit in difficulty doing this)
I felt called into question with this topic, I'm writing a kind of Artificial intelligence on my own and I've read your post, until the official one won't come out I'll try to do my best to bring a temporary solution for making CPUs a bit less dumb, the only problem is that also my script needs a lot of time before It will be shared with the community.
