I take competitive SFD seriously. I'm working on something big but it will be a very long time before it reaches completion. Expect something closer to when SFD launches as a full game, for now, just keep playing and getting better at SFD so that when a competitive version gets made, you're ready for it.

There was unofficial SFD turnament already (and as always i was late to it ._.). I asked the host of the games if there will be more of them, and he said yes. I don't know about OFFICIAL ones tho. Maybe Gurt is planning one right now?! Hoo knows.

Well, my friend Presentionus, you can still make your own tournament whenever you want with your own rules, privately or public and provide everything it needs to work or to complement the tourney itself, such as recording or promotion. After all, that's what a/the community is most about, and everyone is supporting every kind of event made for this game. You could don't just wait for it to be made, and make it by yourself.

If you are waiting for a official tournament, it won't happen until it become a competitive game, and it's true that the game probably has a long path till its conclusion.

Uhhh, dude. Do you know what ESL or Dreamhacks are?! They are stages where pro players go to and compete with their team. Not an unofficial tournament.
