, and I'm wondering why this is. If you try to take cover behind an object like a barrel or hanging crate, you're taken out of cover after some time. This is because the object moves slightly faster than you. It couldn't have to do with weight, because both small crates and large crates move faster than the player. So, I'm hoping for the design choices made to be explained to me. I would like to be able to take cover on conveyor belts.

any object consistently moving won't let the player take cover tho

Able to take cover. Start on a fresh spawned crate to the left and by the time you get to the right, you'll be taken out since the crate moves faster than you.
