Animals Idea

I think personally animals would be a great edition to the game like imagine a colliseum custom map with lions that attack you and if you can jump on their backs and just be a major Bad*** or a police chase map with dogs chasing people and if they get to you bite your legs and attack you it would be fun and funny I know it's a lot to ask but it would be cool and you want a cool game don't you??? and I forgot the best bit about my suggestion there should be like saddles to throw on these anomals and they can be killed or they can kill. This is a brilliant game with loads of potential and this might be just the thing you guys need this (to me) is a great idea thanks for reading and thanks for your time Bye

I can't imagine how would an animal look like in SFD, but it would surely require an A.I. wich is really hard to code
It would be awesome though to have sharks and spiders or even more exotic animals !

Crazy idea (and probably a bad one).
Since it would be really handly for campaigns, it can be done with custom tiles and scripting. Also, with map editor you can do this.
And honestly I don't see any point for adding it.
If I imagine animals in SFD, it would be like a pet that follows you, more an accessory with animation than a gameplay feature.

I think this would be a great idea animals don't have to be mountable you could just have A.I dogs and cats but things like Lions and Bears would be a lot cooler Bears and Lions coud even be mountable. or just A.Is but either way this is a cool idea

My New Idea is "bats"
- bats?
- Yes , bats.
Bats are very nice in adventure maps with caverns, ever add a theme of mistery.

HERE
- Bats attack players removing 0,5 of health
- Bats is very fast , making the player stay confused
- In Light the bats stay confused and missing the directions
- Bats dead after of receive two shoots of pistol
- Before of attacking stay the bat of head to down

And damage should be about 1 not 0.1 cause 0.1 is emm

A Bat no is to kill a player but , to remove slow your life..

Yes, but 0.1 damage is like nothing, someone with about 5 hp could survive 50 hits, and that should take looong

True. 0.1 doesn't really affect a player. If it takes 1 dmg it may be too much if there's loads of them. I'd say about 0,5 because the bats aren't really there to kill.

I wanted to create the same thread but I didn't see yours so sorry.
(Here it goes)
I would like
CROWS to be added.
First, because they are like the doves, and only need a texture change (pherhaps a black body and red eyes, with the same sounds and a squawk) and second, because they would add a little more feeling to horror maps, or horror themed maps, (ex.
"Summit of Evil", "Wayne Manor",
"Da deed hunter", etc...)

Oh, I want to create same threat today, but your suggestion was first (-.-), so I'll write my ideas here.
More creatures (not pets) can make maps more realistic and life. Some of animals can affect on gameplay.
1) Decorative creatures (don't affect on gameplay):
- Bug/Fly:
1 bright-black pixel (maybe with 1 pixel wings)
Has Bzz-like sound
Flying above garbage bags, corpses
Can't be killed
2) AI creatures (affect on gameplay; can be added only after adding CPU AI):
- Cat:
Randomly running/jumping over the map
Has random sounds (mew, purr)
Has some animations (washes, scratched)
Fears shots and explosions (running from place of explosion of firefight)
Need some melee hits to kill (cat can scratch you (Pillow like damage) or try to run after first hit)
Need one shot from any weapon to kill (has own corpse)
- Dog:
Randomly running/jumping over the map (not so mobile, as cat)
Has dark eyes
Has random sounds (woof, squeal, growl)
Has some animations (sticking tongue out , scratched)
Fears shots and explosions (running from place of explosion of firefight)
Need some melee hits to kill (cat can hurt you (Punch like damage) or try to run after some hits)
Need some shots from Uzi (most low damage gun) to kill (has own corpse) (try to run after 1 shot)
- Agressive Dog:
Randomly running/jumping over the map (not so mobile, as cat, but bit more mobile, than standart Dog)
Has red eyes and maybe frothing at the mouth
Atack Player if he was in Dog's field of view, follow Player, if he's trying to run.
Restoring HP, when eating other creatures corpses
Standart Dogs fears Agressive Dogs
Has random sounds (woof, squeal, growl)
Has some animations (sticking tongue out , scratched)
Fears explosions (running from place of explosion)
Run to the most close firefight place
Need some melee hits to kill (cat can hurt you (Punch like damage) or try to run Dog's HP low)
Need some shots from Uzi (most low damage gun) to kill (has own corpse) (follow you after 1 shot)

How about fighting dog? This is a cool idea. In next campage we see terrorists or bandits or police with mastiffs.
Dog features
*Eating corpses and replenishing health
*Disable enemy than dog attack
*Health regeneration by licking wounds
(I got sick and therefore did not finish SFD Alien)
