What kind of style?

I play at these game a lot of time so i have a really big problem
I think all day long.I look at all pixels.And i dont understand (developers wtf?)
What kind of style is it?
Is it a comic style?
Is it a cartoon?
Is that my dirty fantasy
Why i think like that? because shadows damn they go dark as in comics.
(I also get sick)

SFD's style is inspired by a lot of things, from hard-edged comics like Hellboy, noir cartoons like Batman: The Animated Series, lots and lots of movies from every genre (though mostly action, crime, and sci-fi flicks), and probably everything I ever saw/read as a kid. Oh, and various NES games I've never played.

Just admit it you took atleast some inspiration from madness combat.

Yeah, absolutely. Tom Fulp & Dan Paladin's stuff too. The whole Newgrounds thing was really influential of course. I haven't kept up with the Flash scene though - that was back when we were students and had lots of time to kill. Them were the days. :)

Haha i knew it. It has a similiar feel to it, especially the way characters look :)
