After 3 years, I finally got around to buying SFD. Since it was on sale, I decided to buy it for some of my friends too.
Starting up for the first time brought me back and thank goodness my old laptop can still run this game smoothly. Past me would have been hype for the challenges mode lol. Which challenge unlocks the straw hat though?
So, did I miss anything? How is the clan scene, can I still try to join JOY? This post might not be much, but I'm happy to be back to sucking at SFD. Hopefully I'll be more active in the forum as well as maybe join the discord server and see what's up there.

Forums is dead, devs have abandoned this game and are working on their other future projects, melee has been nerfed to a joke. I think clans are pretty much just for show anymore, and as for the playercount... well let me check, today in the afternoon there were around 10 servers with a measly total playercount of around 30. https://imgur.com/a/DdGbIHX
Oh and if you try to host matches its extremely difficult to find any players, unless you maybe host like custom maps.

This. Still enjoyable if you host using the right settings or know how to find your servers. I recently found out an ISP can literally stop you from hosting multiplayer games, which has prevented me from opening any multiplayer lobbies for nearly a year now.
Once I sort this thing out I will be able to host whenever I play again, I had a really cool idea for a dedicated server too which might come to fruition after I finish the other projects I’m currently working on.
