Hi! I'm doing this because I want to contact Gurt or any other developer of the game because I'm a native Spanish speaker and I would love to translate the game to spanish. There are some translations already but the access to the tutorial and campaign are block so no one can really translate that. I need to contact the developers to ask them to let me do the full spanish translation. I don't even wan't any money for it, I just want more people to get to know the game and find it easy to get into in their own language. So please! If Gurt or any developer of the game sees this please contact me at [link removed] to talk to me about making a full translation that also includes the tutorial and campaigns. Or if anybody knows how can I contact them then please let me know. Thanks.

This could’ve easily been a DM. I have edited your personal information out of the thread. Figuring out how to send a private message on a forum isn’t hard, finding the devs on it is even easier.

Not going to lock this yet, just in case someone can actually help this guy get a Spanish translation up and running.

The best way to make translations for the tutorial or campaign is to actually copy the maps into your own maps and perform the translation in-code and then share the maps in the workshop as a custom map for the tutorial and custom campaigns for the campaigns. We have no built-in support to translate texts used in the maps themself. You can only translate the GUI today with the provided language tool.

Yeah I mean I could do that but I want to be able to go into the Spanish version of the tutorial from the menu when I click tutorial. If I did the map translation to Spanish (And the entire game) and gave it to you, would you include it in the next update? So that people can just pick the language they want and play it fast an easy.

What we possibly can do is to add support to read textIDs from scripts, making texts used in the tutorial translateable with language packs which would be a good addition. It would allow for the tutorial to be translateable with language packs only. Easiest for the end-user I think. I think I will include this possibility in the next update.

We do not include translations with the game itself as we can't verify that the translations have the correct intent and meaning. Automated translation tools only takes you so far before it gets all wacky...

That would be amazing, yes! That's all I'm asking for so we can do a full translation to Spanish. This would include a way to also translate the campaigns right? Cause I wanna translate everything, not just the tutorial but the campaigns too. Anyways, thank you! I will wait for it!
