In this topic I'll explain to you how the Forum Ranks exactly work, and how you would get them. Normal Ranks

1. Meatbag
This is the first rank you would get when registering the forums, you're seen as a new comer in the forums with the default text color, and it doesn't have a special rank image. You have to post 10 times to rank up to Fighter.

2. Fighter
Image
This is the first rank you would get with a special rank image, you're seen as a regular user in the forums. You have to post 60 times to rank up to SuperFighter.

3. SuperFighter

This is the second rank and hopefully the last rank you would be able to get by being an active member in the forums. You cannot get any other new rank after this by just posting # number of times.

Special Ranks

Map Maker

This rank has not been used. You'd get it by being an official Map Maker member and you'd be getting a special role in the community. This rank would be possibly used when the game launches to the full version.

Very Important Person
Image
This rank has not been used. You'd get it by being an important member of the community that the admins would notice. This rank would be possibly used when the game launches to the full version.

Donator
Image
This Rank has not been used. You'd get it by donating to the creators of the game
This rank would be possibly used when the game launches to the full version.

Game Tester
Image
This rank is used by the official game testers, such as Zyfex. Being a game tester is commonly known as testing the game and finding bugs, glitches and helping the creators of the game to fix them in order to get a better in-game experience.

Administrator Ranks

New Mod
Image
The first time you get to be part of the MythologicInteractive team, you become a New Mod. New Mods have no access to the Admin Control Panel (ACP) and they can't permanently ban members, although, they can warn people and ban them using the system.

Mod

Having time enough to be considered trust worthy, they leave the New Moderator and become a Moderator. Mods are members who have all Admin powers with restricted access to the ACP. They receive your reports, keep the forum organized, they're able to warn/ban members and edit threads/posts, they can't change the site design or its coding, move/delete whole threads or bump threads.
In order to remove/move a thread they'll need to move each post in it one by one.

Admin
Image
They have access to the ACP. They're the higher rank in the team, the authority in the forums and in-game and they train the Mods to do their job well.

Lead Designer
Image
This is Hjarpe's role, he's the mastermind in the game creation team. He has the admin permissions too.

Programmer
Image
This is Gurt's role, he's the coder. The programmers are the hand that gives life to the apps (games at this moment). He has the admin permissions too.

Having everything done, have fun with your recently acquired knowledge!

This info is not accurate.
For example:
Zyfex is not an official game tester but still got the special role of SFD Q.A. Tester as we appreciate his dedication to testing the game.
We have no plans to recruit map makers to create official maps.

I guess he just right-clicked on someone's current rank image and showed it in a new tab or something and then changed the nr to see all the different rank images. Only a handful of images are used for real ranks anyway.

You need 60 posts to be a Superfighter.
Also, we need some new normal ranks, i think.
