Music Discussion Thread

This thread, as the title states, is about discussing music.
To give you an idea, this is a thread where you share your opinion, good or bad, on tracks, artists, albums, and genres. Not only that, but a topic where you ask questions and answer said questions about music. Asking questions is greatly encouraged and no opinion is wrong.
Examples of questions would be:
What songs have you listened to recently?
What bands would you recommend?
What genre(s) do you prefer?
The only rule is that posts have to be related to music.
Ask questions, share songs, whatever, as long as it's related to music. Posts that aren't related to music will be deleted.
(Spam should also be kept at a minimal but that goes without saying)

This is Industrial Death Metal. I'm not big on definitions and genres, but here it goes anyway in case somebody has tastes similar to mine.
I've been looking all over the place for something like this; growly female vocals, audible lyrics, song structure that follows one pattern/theme throughout the major part of it (in contrast to Experimental/Math metal), modern and relatively catchy melodies. So far I've found Arch Enemy to be similar but I don't really find them... easy to follow? Excluding the latest Doomsday Machine album, none of their songs follows a pattern/theme or has "clear" vocals. I'm not an expert and don't really know how to describe what I like exactly, but I'd love to get more of what I posted.
I'm into Mechina too if that helps.

If you have no idea what the fuck I'm talking about consider this to be a recommendation post; I like both bands and if you're exploring new music genres I recommend you try these two out.
If you're into metal too, what do you recommend I try?
Hint: I've listened to most of the famous bands at one point or another, try to find me some underground/indie stuff.

I've been going through a lot of Pogo's old stuff. The nostalgia brings me to tears.
My personal favorite.

I don't see how a music genre can be "gay".
I thought this was a serious music discussion thread.
It sounds upbeat, I think I like it actually. The only thing "not okay" about this is the overuse of anime covers, especially ones with half-naked chicks or ones that sexualize underage girls.

I mostly listen to music such as OST from video games, but artists on SoundCloud & YouTube are in my interest as well
And this as well since the beat is so energetic. I also think that this describes how I am outside of Superfighters Deluxe.
I'm also an anime fan so yeah
And lastly before calls this a spam of some sort, I also listen to music like this. Enjoy

lol, we have a heavy topic here... >_< I think to put videos on spoil would be better xP
Anyway, i am an aspiring Soundtrack composer (beginner), and I like too much Orchestral Rock/Metal songs like Shadow of the Colossus soundtrack.
I tried one, it was bad, but I tried.

Here's some more good new retro synthwave. The channel that these videos come from regularly uploads synthwave music, if you're looking for that kind of thing. Also, I like almost any of Droid Bishop's stuff. So here's two of his songs:
