[SOLVED] Redundant ban message when not hosting a game

If you're hosting a dedicated server, you can play by accessing it from the list of servers without the game registering you as the host. That means no host command such as /ie or /setstartitems should work for you in chat. Yet for some reason you are still able to "ban" other players by inputting a /ban command, without them getting kicked or actually banned from the server. The notification is still displayed as if they've just been banned.

Here's a preview (was too big for actual image embedding, sorry):

Perhaps this is possible without you even being a host of a server. I remember "banning" a friend who was hosting a server from his own lobby, and then not being able to enter the server again since it was "on my ban list". It's weird that it kinda works both ways - a host can ban an unwanted player, but a player can also ban... an unwanted host? I'm not sure if this is intended.

Any player can add a player to his/her own local ban list by simply typing /ban NAME. If you ever host in the future that player won't be able to join you. Any ban message you see is for your eyes only. If you happen to have moderator privileges on a server you will ban said player on that server instead resulting in them being kicked and unable to join the server with a global ban message.
