Im not too familair with how the Kevlar back looks like, but that looks fine to me. Is that red tint apart of the vest or something else?

Yeah, that's just the scarf.

Also, I'm guessing a kevlar vest would completely cover your back...right now it's just a bulletproof apron.

It could just be black kevlar on the back. Gonna invoke artistic license on this one: by design!
