When I log in to some servers, people are using notepad to make a bug in the chat, and this is much worse when the host is not connected https://imgur.com/a/slh4H

I Believe these people have set up hotkeys.Hotkeys allow you to press one button, but that acts like a series of button press or movements. In example,if u have a hotkey that makes ctrl=enter, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, enter on that game you can do so.

An oversight when adding support for paste text support. You can now copy new lines into the text. Probably best to fix this before the chat is spammed with... text.

Man, those were the good old days, when I got banned from blurry's server for doing that.
But yea, it should surely be fixed.
Also, you can do the same with your name.

People 've been using and abusing this since some versions ago, don't remember when. But I thought someone had already reported that as a problem.

Instead of not being able to post more than two lines of text: If after copy + paste, for each line another message (with the user's nickname at left and with the antispam working as well when more than three lines are made). I've seen some games that do something similar as that. Or instead, just substituting a new line with a space.

We will keep it simple and replace new lines with space.

I think many developers struggle with this. Just because a bug is well known among players doesn't mean the developers even have heard about it. The developers often have one official communication channel (This forum for example) that users can use to report bugs in the game. But if all players just keep typing in the chat "They should fix this" or "They should have fixed this months ago" we will never see it.
