Background Information
The original JOY clan page was made January 24, 2014. JOY is a neutral clan and the leaders of it are Vitamin E and Ruro. This clan wasn't made to be the most powerful, but it was created to be the most neutral. This means that we do not discriminate and we kill everyone regardless of their background or alignment. JOY members must be skilled in all areas of combat so that they may have fun murdering their opponents. Newcomers can join the JOY Discord and talk to their comrades with 35+ hand drawn custom emotes, created by Vitamin E.

Requirements to Join

• You must 1v1 a JOY leader (Retired Santa or Vitamin E) on their server
• All weapons and tactics must be used during your test
• During the match the maps will rotate every 2 rounds and you will play on a variety of custom maps which Vitamin E has created
• You will play 25 matches
• Winning 9 matches qualifies you for JOY entry
• If you do not pass the test, you can always retry later once you have improved
• If you do pass the test, but you were raging during the matches, you can be disqualified
• After you have joined JOY you must leave any other clans you are currently in because being in two clans at once would compromise the neutrality of JOY


The easiest way to set up a 1v1 would be to join the JOY tryouts Discord. If you do not have Discord, you will have to undergo the difficult process of finding and asking a JOY member in-game for a 1v1.

Yea I remade it because I forgot to do the once a month post so the topic didn't get deleted.

I appreciate the JOY group for its sense of humor and excellent map design and skill. I played with them today and i had a pretty good time playing with these chill guys. +Rep for the entire group!

I don't like clans where you need to be tested in order to join. Especially if it's a "neutral" clan. It's a group of people for God's sake, you don't have to be a pro that plays the game for more than 6 months to join, it's a clan and EVERYONE(even new players) should be welcome into it!

Then theres no fun in that,i recruited my members by tests,if you let a new player join without your knowledge about him why do you create a clan?A clan is a group of people where they know each other pretty well and have same skills to go toe to toe against each other.Thats fun.
Theres nothing like ''neutral clan'' in SFD.

I know a free clan where the pro and newbies are recruited without a test ,just you have to put on the tag and your in. its OP

If I let anyone join then I will not have the best people representing my clan. Some people have anger issues and are bad at the game and those 2 things I don't like to see in my clan members. Tests are necessary to weed out the weaker ones, but they can just re-try later when they get better.
