If you want online services to work with Superfighters Deluxe v.1.3.7 or older you must download this file ( and place it in the same folder as the game itself, next to the Superfighers Deluxe.exe file. This will enable TLS 1.2 which now is required for those older versions of the game.

On top of that, out of all of my playtime in SFD, teammode hasn't really added anything interesting gameplay-wise. It rather leads to annoying situations pretty often (team melee or just inescapable situations in general).

The game has the Workshop for custom maps, scripts and localizations, but custom textures, sounds, music and mods affecting the code (like Rainbow Fighters and SFD +) cannot be published there.
