Re: could not create temporary for map script message

The game needs permissions to create temporary files in windows in order to compile and load scripts if you create a game. Make sure no anti-virus is blocking the game and it's installed correctly. Try running the game as administrator if you must (try starting Steam as administrator if you must). N...

Status Update 2019-03-15

A short status update: We're working on the next update to get it ready to the end of March as that marks a period of 4 months since we released the game on Steam. This update will primarily include some new items and challenges. Exactly which items will be a surprise :) After the update I will adju...

Re: User limited exceeded for Steam Cloud Workshop

There is an effective limit on 50 files for the game (or reaching a maximum size quota). We figured none would ever upload that much.
We have increased the amount of files any user can upload to 200 now. (Might take up to a day or so before this is registered).

Re: Joining a server starting on the versus map “Helipad” causes the Joining player to lose connection.

Fixed after v.1.1.2. It turns out that the Helipad map suffered from many different problems (ranging from the game logic and to the map itself) stacking up causing the game to most likely freeze when trying to join a game in progress running the Helipad map (as the box2D engine tried to resolve som...

Re: Far Background is immovable?

FarBackground tiles are only for decorations and nothing else and aren't in the same box2D world as normal tiles you can interact with. The end user can disable backgrounds in the settings if they want.

Re: [BUG] Strange handless frozen character

Sounds like you temporarily lost connection to the server. It happens and when it does your character might get frozen in strange states, like described.

Re: Joining a server starting on the versus map “Helipad” causes the Joining player to lose connection.

Thanks for reporting. We're looking into optimizing various bits of the data traffic generated in the game, how it's generated and the map itself to help servers and players with lower bandwidth connections be able to finish loading. The Helipad map is generating lots of extra data post-loading whic...

Re: Path node layer doesn't really go away

Click on the path-node icon to hide the path-node outlines as mentioned by Mr Argon. This feature is not bound to the visibility of path node layers (you can have multiple path node layers where half of them are hidden and the other half visible). The outlines will simple just show everyone when it'...

Re: [Need help] How to make path grid?

Making a path grid is a complex topic to explore. To make bots understand they can ledge-grab you need proper ledge-grab PathNodes. Bots will also avoid jumping over too far gaps in general. For now, see how the official maps are designed when it comes to the path grid and read up on the few notices...

Re: Testing a new mode "Contest"

Played it for a few mins. It’s pretty fun! The script needs some work though. Sometimes bots and players would receive the incorrect amount of points (if the points system is based on how long you are in the square). Some one receive more points when it wasn’t deserved. Otherwise fun game mode! Con...

Testing a new mode "Contest"

Testing a new mode I just call "Contest". I have finally created a server to try out a new mode in the game, just called "Contest" for now. It's a custom script I have been working on (as mentioned in the past status update https://mythologicinteractiveforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=3517) running o...

Re: A Damage Indicator

Why would you hate resorting to scripts for this? these are the small things that scripting is for, very small modifications that you can just code yourself instead of having to annoy the devs with. there already is a script in the workshop that does this. This is in the ideas and suggestion topic,...

Re: Was there a change in blocking?

Recent updates have not change blocking. Locking this topic before it turns into another "Pre-alpha melee vs melee now" topic which has been brought up several times already. To quote myself: We have no further plans to change the melee combat. Majority of the changes (if not all) we have done up to...

Re: Reflection Bug

Fixed in a hotfix for v.1.1.2. Update your game. It has nothing to do with the new map or the deflection zone :) It's actually a very old bug together with another tweak done to fix this one https://mythologicinteractiveforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=3539 that made it act strangely. The old bug is ...

The helicopter leaves if it takes any explosive damage. Don't be on it when it does! This is by design.

Re: WhoWinTrigger and WhoLoseTrigger

Conceptually, you can either win or not win a game. Winning makes your win counter increase with +1. In v.1.1.2 we introduced the possibility to assign your own wins to any users in the game using the IUser.IncreaseScore() function. In detail you set Game.AutoScoreConditionEnabled = false and call I...

It sounds like some firewall rule has been updated.
We can only give vague suggestions like check your firewall rules, anti-virus programs and Hamachi settings.
