Re: Thrown items not hitting enemies.

Changes done after v.1.0.4. Hitting enemies with thrown items will hit enemies as long as the thrown item has enough velocity or the relative velocity is high enough, any of the two. This means that you can now throw items in the back of running away enemies as intended.

Re: What is with this white outline?

We transform magenta pixels (255, 0, 255) to transparent pixels automatically. So you could use MSPaint if you want.

Re: One guy using cheats to make their load time endless

Didn't know you could manipulate the loading like this by dropping net package. "Sigh" another stupid thing to worry about because... some just want to see the world burn.

Can we do something about pirated copy? The fact that pirated copy can still join online multiplayer is actively encouraging people to pirate. There are people who bought from steam but use pirated one instead to get around kick/ban.
We know about this problem and have some ideas.

Status Update 2019-01-18

We're working on the next update, as always. For the first time in a long time I have been coding on a new item to the game which is refreshing from the usual technical stuff and bot logic which has been the majority of work for me the past months. It's the first usable powerup item after the slowmo...

Re: Need some help with a map

I was gonna suggest to look at the official template map but then I realized we don't have any simple door mechanic opening when pressing a button. We should probably add that.

Re: What about client-sided debris?

in that case, whenever the debris is moved or destroyed on 1 client's pc, it wouldn't be updated on the server or other clients. Exactly. The only side effect would be to have each client see the debris in a different way, but since they (almost) never interact with the actual gameplay, it would be...

Re: Pre-Alpha Melee VS Now

We have no further plans to change the melee combat. Majority of the changes (if not all) we have done up to the release of the game compared to the PRE-ALPHA ( a game that is a work-in-progress and not representative of the final version of the game ) when it comes to melee has been to address diff...

Re: What's the point of power weapons?

Weapons in SFD isn't supposed to be balanced. Some weapons are more powerful (by design) than others and some doesn't spawn as often than others. Some weapons should make you want to stay out of melee range (like the chainsaw / shock-baton). Not everything in the game should gravitate towards melee-...

Re: PLEASE REMOVE "SERVER MOVEMENT" OF THE GAME

Adding to the original suggestion, it might be a good idea to display whether the server has server-side movement enabled before you join, in a similar way to how you can view the map or amount of players before you join a server. -Tbh I think that would be the best course of action -For the record...

Re: Superfighters Deluxe 1.0.4 is out!

What error do you get when you try to host?
Also: Make sure you allow Superfighters Deluxe through your firewall.
NAT Punchthrough is not the solution for everyone's unique network situation either. It might just not work for your specific case. This technique won't work for everyone.

Re: PLEASE REMOVE "SERVER MOVEMENT" OF THE GAME

There's a real reason why (most) modern games don't allow end users to set up their own games. 1: They can't verify that the hardware meets minimum requirements for a smooth experience. 2: They can't verify the hardware that deals with network packages (routers etc...). 3: They can't verify that the...

Re: PLEASE REMOVE "SERVER MOVEMENT" OF THE GAME

Server movement is there to prevent your high ping and teleportation issues to be a trouble for everyone else on the server. It activates at a minimum of 100 ping (any lower is ignored) and by default is set to 150 in the latest version of the game. Any lower ping and it will work as before. The way...

Status update 2019-01-07

The year 2018 is over and 2019 begins. We just released the NAT Punchthrough update to help setting up servers and joining games without the need to set up port forwarding. This will help those that can't set it up for various reasons. Maybe you don't know how it's done, maybe the router is locked d...

Re: Controller Issue

It works as designed - input on any controller not controlling any player will be redirected to player one by default. We're adding a new config key which you can disable in the next update to disable this behavior if you really need third party programs to rebind your controller key input. Set KB_R...

Sounds like it's working! As mentioned, connecting can take up to 10 seconds.
