First, remove the top spot up there, it's complete bullshit. If you try to get up there, then your opponent can just kick you down, and if you try to shoot him from one side, he can just switch side, and just camp there.

Hi,

Taking the top off to make room for more items? I'm reminded of platforms or furniture when I hear this (new objects would be nice at this point). Although I would prefer a less jerky approach, I don't understand why the elevators should be synced, and their speed is also fine.

I have a simple script that creates a PlayerPortrait, and gives it a PlayerProfileInfo (by getting the appropriate IObjectPlayerProfileInfo from the map). This works fine in the editor, but if I start a game with this map, the portraits are randomized.

Technically it should work just fine if you're hosting an offline game too. Many things don't work due to synchronization issues I guess; in fact when hosting a server your PC behaves as a server AND client

But yeah, bugs like that were annoying when I used to script.

I have played SFD for a while now and I've never had any Problems with the Multiplayer but now I can't connect to my friends and they can't connect to me, I can still connect to other lobbies, just not my friends. Simply put I need a script that can tweak the weapon spawn chances of weapons to my custom liking. Sure i could go into each and every map and tweak every single weapon spawn chance again and again, but that's honestly gonna take 1 hour probably. I already have a script to disable certain items...

Odex64 With looping you mean the repeat of UpdateCallback? I don't have any experience using the ObjectCreation event, although it looked more efficient. I usually only make scripts that run for Beta. Thanks for the script.

The only effect name that is documented right now is CFTXT . There are some other cool effects like BLD (blood) or S_P (spark) that would benefit modders if documented properly. The old thread about effect names is over a year old
