Game crashes when playing challenge "Rising Storm" and Path Grids missing from Campaign maps.

So when I play the latest challenge "Rising Storm", I start off dead ass you can see below

Then after a few seconds, the game crashes. (as you can see from the magenta background.)

So then I check the other challenges out. None of them have path grids. (As you can see from the chat.)

Already verified game files and uninstalled and reinstalled the game, so I'm going to see this as a bug.

Based on the very limited information it looks like you're not allowing scripts to compile and run - which might affect said maps.

Begin with uninstalling SFD completely.
Uninstall it through Steam.
Browse to the installation folder for SFD in the Steam's game library folder structure and remove any remaining files manually.
Then you rename your Documents/Superfighters Deluxe/ folder (maybe to Documents/SFD OLD/) as it may contain files overriding some files from the base installation.
Then I suggest you rebooting your computer (just in case some SFD process is running).
Then install the game through Steam again.
The config.ini file for the game will be reset and default to allow scripts to compile and run.

Something similar happened to me around last year except for whatever reason, the only difference being that this would happen on literally every map, including campaigns, challenges, versus maps, etc etc. There was an issue with running scripts. If the classic uninstall and reinstall isn't working, I would recommend digging into the game files to make sure nothing is interfering with how scripts are being run. What I did to fix my issue was I renamed the folder where all the information was being fed into. Upon opening the game it should make a brand new folder. You could delete it if you want but then you would lose challenge progress and your profiles and stuff. From there you can just copy paste in the important files you want whilst leaving harmed files out of the way.

Here is a video documenting the issue I had in the past. It is not the same issue you had, but I am sure it is similar.
