Why I think the game needs a free weekend
Looking at steamcharts right now, the all time player count is only 146 (https://i.imgur.com/sBDp5O5.jpg, I don't know how to hyperlink here lmao)
I think what the game really needs is a free weekend, so players can experience the game and realize they want to play it. I bet that some who played the flash version a long time ago don't realize the game as a sequel on steam with extra content and multiplayer. There are tons of people who bought Epic Battle Fantasy 5 just from it being a sequel to EBF4, which I found out just by looking at all the reviews. People are also bound to try the game just because it's a free weekend too, I know when I was younger and didn't have any games on steam I insta-tried all free week games.

I didn’t even think of that. Good suggestion. I didn’t get into Saints Row 4 until I got a free weekend on that. Ended up buying it and the sequelThe Potatolord wrote: ↑Wed Dec 05, 2018 12:20 amLooking at steamcharts right now, the all time player count is only 146 (https://i.imgur.com/sBDp5O5.jpg, I don't know how to hyperlink here lmao)

Not everyone pirates games, though, and it will still help the game

Indeed this is a good idea and I didn't even remember of this. Free weekends encouraged me to buy some games before, in my first Steam account.
However, I'd say devs should work on some stuff before making this, like accomplishing the demands of the many personalities (like youtubers) that are playing the game and the negative reviews that are mostly talking about the difficult to make a server and setting controllers (and piracy as well, I think).
In fact, it would be bad to make the game free for a weekend to make them go limp by taking a lot of time configuring stuff, dealing with problems related to server making, etc.
Mainly if devs are really planning to do something about this even though I'm not sure.

It would be reasonable to have a free weekend for those to make up their minds to buy the game (Considering the price tag).
But the devs should make more features to add to the game to appeal to buyers.
There is a demand for online personalities to play the game for there to be at least some type of "free-advertising".
But first things first, the devs should fix what the reviews complained about (Which is what they're probably doing right now at the time of this post.)

The only difference is saints row 4 was pile of smelly dung that doesnt deserve your money, so to everyone considering buying that game, buy Superfighters instead.RickAvory wrote: ↑Wed Dec 05, 2018 1:10 amI didn’t even think of that.
