Super Fighters Server Making Application.

Post by [MELEE SENSEI] ZERO » Mon Jul 11, 2016 4:42 am

Hello Super Fighters Deluxe fans and today i would like to share an idea that will ease the creation of servers in SFD. Making a server on some computers is a big problem, for example my Dell Latitude D630 even though connected to excellent wifi and has dual core processors cannot perform the task of making a server. So i would like for Mythological Interactive to try and make an application able to run on Android or maybe even IOS platforms using the sign in option to make a server that is able to be connect to by other Super Fighters Deluxe users. If this is done it will be greatly appreciated by us and am sure it will make making a server easier for some users.

The server requires all content to be loaded which requires built in and custom XNA content pipeline processors which requires XNA which requires windows. A stretch goal could be a MonoGame version of SFD that could run on Linux but that's a stretch goal and is not something that's planned today.
