A Damage Indicator

Post by StarNord » Tue Mar 05, 2019 4:40 pm

I hate having to resort to scripts to find out how much damage a weapon gives, I think the game should have a damage indicator feature that can be toggled on and off, this would help people get informed about a new weapon and how much damage it gives

I imagine this feature to work by putting a number above your head that adds up the more damage you take but it also could be more spammy and rapid-fire numbers above your head for each individual damage value without adding them up

All in all, this'll make wiki work easier and help people who have no idea that a wiki exists find out the damage values themselves or for anyone who just want to know how much damage they're taking or giving out in an active game

Why would you hate resorting to scripts for this? these are the small things that scripting is for, very small modifications that you can just code yourself instead of having to annoy the devs with. there already is a script in the workshop that does this.

This is in the ideas and suggestion topic, which is the correct place for this topic.

Generally, if something can be done today by creating a script then that's the way to go.
