I've been trying to get started spriting because I realized I had more time on my hand.

You should use much bigger pixels (the fighter's nose is 1 pixel), but I like the idea of having blood on them like the old Superfighters.

yea I wouldn't mind that coming back. I remember in the old one after you lost like 75 hp your face and body would be a little bloody and stuff, maybe make it so you cant see anyone else's HP but you can make a good guess based on how bloody they are?

Yes, I agree it's a good idea.
We could make a CPU get blood through the damage received (Change of attire).
Or that bleeding is already integrated in all players
At 20 hp you start bleeding?
