Here is a little visual aid to show the heights at which items are thrown, and thus the distances they can be thrown in correlation (I presume). Measurements were taken using the lowest point on each object when thrown. The distance between each section is 8 pixels, but the measurements are not exact. Sections right next to each other are very close in throwing distance, so these rankings should just be used for exact calculations. It is of worthy note that mines, grenades, and molotovs all seem to be thrown higher when live, rather than in non-lethal form.
