Host public game with hamachi?

Post by Splinter » Thu Jun 30, 2016 9:15 pm

Ok, so I just found out that my ISP is blocking all my ports, unless I pay more! Yay! I asked them if that's a new policy, and they said no. I could host before, so my guess is that when I had hamachi installed, somehow it worked, so I reinstalled it.

Can I host a public game somehow, by using hamachi and maybe auto port-forwarding combined? Because I don't wanna have to tell everyone my IP or my hamachi everytime I host.

You can not connect to mythologicinteractive.com using hamachi.

Why are your ISP blocking ports? The internet should not be censored like that! Guess it's up to the ISP to offer the service against certain fees though. Sad but true!

Lol, yeah, from what I researched, a lot of people are mad because of this. So it was not my hamachi... I think I could host before because I used a really, REALLY old modem they gave me, this new one probably has updated configurations to block ports. A friend told me I can sue them for doing that, I'll try to call there and complain, hehe. Thanks!
