People just can't join my game
I don't know what is the problem really I did everything that is in the forums on how to host but still people don't seem to join my server, and someone once told me he tried to connect but all what he got is "connection timed out", even when trying to connect from a PC that is on the same network (aka local connection) he gets the same error HELP

Make sure windows firewall isn't blocking SFD or any other third party programs.
To connect within the same local area network you must use "Connect to IP" and enter the host's LOCAL network IP
For others to connect to your game you must forward the correct ports.

Reinstalling the game won't help. Go through the manual port forwarding process. If you run into a problem with one of the steps post here and we'll try to help.

My problem isn't in port forwarding and I tried both the manual way and automatically, my router supports Upnp but still no one joins
And yeah as expected reinstalling does nothing.

It usually is, though. Send us a screencap of your SFD port forwarding entry and the ipconfig results. Censor private information if you want. Alternatively, send me a message; if we solve the problem I'll update the thread accordingly. Fast reply not guaranteed.

The port on my router security settings
And i have a static IP so I don't have to recheck my IP every time I connect
I know you asked for ipconfig results but I'm sure I did the process without missing anything.
And I don't have any problem to wait until you check the post again and see if i replied or not Thanks for any help you do at anytime.

- Try filling the Remote Host field with the same information you filled the Local Host one with.
- Ensure the router is actually using the IPv4 address you told it to use by using the ipconfig command; it probably is but you never know.
- Is the IPv6 method disabled on your router? Using the ipconfig command can help us find out and that's why I asked for the ipconfig results.
- Is the UPnP ruleset enabled?
- What's your router's make and model? Have you tried using https://portforward.com/ to solve the issue with it?

It's not a required field, but I tried to fill it with the local host but what I got is this "Invalid remote host address. Enter an IP address on an external network".
Yeah I used the ipconfig command and it's the same.

I'm convinced this is the key to solving the issue. It won't let you input an IPv4 address because of this:
Disable IPv6 on all devices by following this tutorial. It was also linked in the guide you followed. You should then be able to use the IPv4 address in place of the Remote Host field. Alternatively, the router will use the IPv4 address you gave it to forward the port instead of the IPv6 address it is currently using.Su20ma wrote: ↑Thu Sep 07, 2017 11:09 pmWireless LAN adapter شبكة Wi-Fi 2:

I tried to host again what changed is locally people can join anyone else I didn't try so I'm not sure.
I had this idea that maybe my ISP is restricting me cause well I'm in SA alot of websites and services are Blocked It's unlikely but might be a reason

About IPv6 - for others to join they must also have IPv6 if you decide to host using IPv6.
If you happen to host using IPv6 try to boot up another instance of SFD and see if you can see your own game in browse games.

Make sure no firewall or anti-virus program is blocking communication for SFD.
Check in the settings for SFD that the default port is still set to 52233.
Also see https://mythologicinteractiveforums.com ... f=10&t=122 how to setup port forwarding for SFD.
If you're unlucky your IPS may be blocking port 52233 (and other non-official port numbers).
