As some of you may know already we're working on future tools for the campaigns.

Currently we're in the Alpha as seen in our roadmap and next up is bots. At least very stupid basic bots as we will keep improving the AI throughout the development cycle until release and perhaps beyond. The basic bots will be a crucial component of the campaigns as the bots will be the main challenge, cannon fodder and provide different ways to combat enemies.

We will develop a few things in parallel. Firstly the tools to create campaigns which will be unavailable in the Alpha. Secondary we will start with basic bots in some form. The first iteration of bots might only be able to navigate some official maps and perhaps grab some items along the way and only use a limited set of weapons. Then we will start expanding the bots as time goes on. When we're happy with some sort of basic bots for the Alpha we will end the Alpha phase and begin the Beta phase.

Meanwhile we might release smaller updates here and there, fixing a few things, until we're ready to release the basic bots. All we know at this point is that we don't know how long time it will take (we're still working on this in our spare time).

Will the bots be more advanced from the flash game? Beacuse this game contains lots of more things that need to be: interacted with, broken, shot etc.
And will they be able to pick up ALL items? (bottle, chair etc.)
And, one last thing, if the bots will be advanced, can the glitch from the first game get removed? (the one that is mostly encountered on hazardous where if 2 bots go up the stairs at the same time and aim at each other they will get stuck until you hit them or reset the level). Or the glitch where something gets in the way and when someone is trying to use the portals (these things: http://i.imgur.com/PsVrVRN.png), can they please break the thing instead of getting stuck in a random direction?

Our goal for the release is that they should be able to use all items in the game, all moves and different tactics and cooperate with other other bots. We will begin small in the Alpha and expand the bots as we release more updates to the game.

Go big with those bots! Can't wait to see them! My question is, will the bots IA will be available from the API? What I mean is: will a dev be able to reuse the IA commands via the API and maybe change a bit the algorithms that the bots behave to? If these feature becomes available some big things may happen!
