[Need help] How to make path grid?
Okay, the basic principle of work is path grid I know, But you can explain to me, How to do it correctly, Why bots jump to the ceiling If I have indicated where to jump, Why when bots go down make a jump? Why do bots sometimes just stop following you and try to kill? I pointed out where to jump, but instead of standing up on the blocks, he turns in different directions and eventually just falls to the ground, the Bot jumps when he wants to attack, And because of this, he does not hit the enemy, the Bot is not very confident, the Bot jumps there, Where not necessary, the bot can not get on the enemy. These are all the problems I found with path grid, Explain why this is happening, and how to make the right path grid Training right in the map editor does not show how to get rid of these problems, here is a picture https://imgur.com/a/YykdQGT thank to advance.

There are lots of motivation to your problem, the nodes seems well positioned, but we don't know the PathNode and PathNodeConnection setup, it could be likely caused by a connection that needs to be one way, if it is the case you will need to setup two different connections for some nodes (when they are on different heights), one that the bot have to jump and another that he needs to simply walk to.Hamurlik wrote: ↑Wed Mar 06, 2019 3:12 pmOkay, the basic principle of work is path grid I know, But you can explain to me, How to do it correctly, Why bots jump to the ceiling If I have indicated where to jump, Why when bots go down make a jump? You need to provide the map to let us investigate the issue.

Making a path grid is a complex topic to explore. To make bots understand they can ledge-grab you need proper ledge-grab PathNodes.
Bots will also avoid jumping over too far gaps in general.
For now, see how the official maps are designed when it comes to the path grid and read up on the few notices that are in the help section over the PathGrid.
