SFD only supports up to around 1920x1080 resolution (no 2K, 4K, Super HD, etc..). So you might have a better time selecting 1920x1080 resolution if your TV has a native resolution of 1920x1080 with screen fit. I imagine you will get the best result selecting a resolution in SFD that is a multiple of 2 of your TV's resolution.

If you have trouble dragging SFD to another monitor (maybe the game crashes due to the graphics card adapter in XNA resetting itself when dragging between monitors) you can select the starting monitor in the config.ini file using the MONITOR=0 key-value pairs.

Also would recommend a steam controller and big picture mode! Steam controllers are really nice because the wireless retriever sets itself up on its own. All you need is batteries for the controller and the receiver plugged in directly into the PC or the extender
