Re: Wait for free slot
This could be a cool addition, I think it should work something like a queue. for example, if a server is full and I join the queue, it would display how many players are currently in the queue and my place in the queue, and when there is a free slot in the server, the first in the queue will be the...

Re: Superfighters Deluxe - LocalStorage
I have used really, really much time making maps and scripts during these few years. It just doesn't feel worth anymore with no one playing them. I hope I could make some content that could bring more players to the game but I don't know if it's going to help at all. new community content may not b...

Re: [Maps by Armolitskiy]
there is absolutely no reason to hate the workshop, forums is not the suitable place to share your maps. moreover, you can update your items in workshop directly through the map editor itself and the map/script's consumers (subscribers) can also update it without having to redownload the map.

You forgot the parenthesis after GetWorldPosition, that is the reason for the error.

Re: What about client-sided debris?
in that case, whenever the debris is moved or destroyed on 1 client's pc, it wouldn't be updated on the server or other clients.Del Poncho wrote: ↑Wed Jan 16, 2019 8:13 pmThe point is that there is no need for information transfer about the debris, other than when it is created.

Re: What about client-sided debris?
player movement or any mechanic being client sided doesn't mean there isn't streaming of data between the server and client. server side movement only makes it so the player's position is updated after the server confirms it, data is still being transferred there and the same goes for client sided d...

Yes please, spread the word! Server side movement is ridiculous and must be stopped.

Re: Any way to check what weapon the player is holding?
Though it didn't work as I expected - instead the code runs if the player is holding anything else than the weapon I want. Fixed by using "else". If you had any knowledge of the language, You'd know that you could the achieve the same by just making the conditional statement check for false instead...

Is there still any way for them to make their own authentication process? Like maybe using some external software that checks if your steam account is legit? not sure about that myself but this is the steamwork's api documentation on user authentication if you are interested. https://partner.steamg...

Re: Piracy
How the hell can these guys join online servers anyway? I didn’t even think that was possible. because like you said, they aren't using any authentication service to stop a player from having online access to the game without a key. I understand why they don't want to integrate too much of steamwor...

Re: Recovery Roll System and Quick Roll Nerf should be abolished
Everyone can pretty much access these combos if they know how to initiate them. You also stated that "combos aren't meta because every player gets to execute them", and that's where you're wrong. See, most of SFD playerbase right now are the veterans and they know how to do such combos. Saying that...

Re: Small Suggestions topic
that would look absolutely rediculous. like the way you spelt ridiculous ha.. kiddin however I doubt if it will be possible to remove gores, gibs in sfd are physical objects, if there is an option that hides all these gibs for a specific player then it should be done to everybody else, because thes...

Re: Providing a more precise target of where the script crashed
I can assume that it was a way too simple example where every compiler will tell you that the variable is not initialized, what I'm trying to say is that if the error occurs at runtime, because of some logic mistakes, where the map/script is shared on Steam, an user won't be able to report you an e...
