Dedicated Server Display Issue in 250% Scaling
I need 250% scaling as my screen is 4k. The dedicated server are missing a few options when running in scaling mode. It works for like 2 days then it just stop working afterwards. Running the program in compatibility low resolution mode doesn't help as it's the scaling mode causing the issue. Howeve...

Re: Unable to edit post
Please don't post more than once if it can be avoided. I didn't warn you under the assumption the bug consists throughout the whole board for you (even though you explicitly mentioned you can edit your own posts); posting 5 times in a row is excessive. Oops sorry my bad but if the edit function mos...

Re: Unable to edit post
Clear cached data, reload the site and try again. Bugs in phpBB3.0 isn't anything we will fix (but we will perform a few updates during the year). So I just ask KliPeH to delete my post then I can just post it again. Well guess what I can't even make a new topic in that sub forum. Should I just try...

Re: Battle of Teams 2.1b Potential Memory Leak Problem
Well after about 400 rounds and 800M ram usage the whole system crashed lol. So the sound card fix doesn't fix this bug after all.

Re: Battle of Teams 2.1b Potential Memory Leak Problem
I assume your auto restart feature means stop the server and start it again right? I tried that before and the memory was not released. Only close the whole dedicated server program and restart it would fix the issue. It will mean that even the dedicated server software is affected by something lik...

Re: Manually start a log for monitoring strange crashes with no reports
Just found this thread yesterday. I disabled my sound card in the device manager and didn't restart the computer according to the popup. Right now hosting Aircrates 4138 rounds, melee island 450 rounds, hover battle 1300 rounds, crates 460 rounds. No crash at all. Also hover battle used to take abo...

Re: Battle of Teams 2.1b Potential Memory Leak Problem
So after about 8 hours of game, the tennis map takes 1.5GB memory and causes horrible lag. Time to upgrade to my server I guess. After some testing, the cause of rapid increasing memory consumption in the tennis server is caused by throwing the baseball bat at the ground, The bat is destroyed upon t...

Re: Battle of Teams 2.1b Potential Memory Leak Problem
Now I am hosting nuj's tennis map. It has the same memory leak problem. I checked the f11 log and there is constantly "can't find effect hit". Could that be the reason why the servers eventually crash?

Is it possible to implement a white list mode for hosting? Password can be leaked and ban list doesn't work either.

I would like to try this map and if it is good I will host it 24/7. I really like Antonikon's server but he hasn't host for so long.

Re: Battle of Teams 2.1b Potential Memory Leak Problem
The bug still exists in your updated version so I guess it's not the script's problem. Gonna manually restart the server every day then. BTW stop server running and start it again doesn't release the ram. I must close the dedicated server window and reopen a new one to fix that.

Re: Battle of Teams 2.1b Potential Memory Leak Problem
Sorry but due for the 1.3.0 update the map camera was a mess, I updated it again, download the map from here . I tried your 2.2 version and after 248 games it takes up 485mb ram so the problem may still exists. Also there is error message about the crate in the middle of the map but I don't know ho...

Re: Battle of Teams 2.1b Potential Memory Leak Problem
It starts with 110 mb ram and slowly increase to around 1gb ram which takes about 200-300 games. I tried crates, official maps, and melee island all of them only take 100 mb ram even after about 500 games. I don't know the code but the creator of the map tell me that there is some bug in the code. ...

Yes it is a 24/7 server. I don't run any script with that map though.Dumby Eggy wrote: ↑Thu May 04, 2017 5:56 am200-300 GAMES?!! Too many games, like a 24/7 server. Do you normally run scripts when you host the BoT map ?
