Re: Where's weapons data ?

Players have in the past used script to gather detailed information about damage (by shooting bots for example) and calculating crit-damage and crit-chances. It's otherwise all hard-coded into the game.

No. The StrengthBoost will apply an additional size but that's about it.

Re: Has SFD already been hacked ?

Those with account nr 666 are using a Steam emulator to play SFD. What we know the game files are intact. It's one way to play Steam games without Steam, but we don't recommend it. For curiosity I tried the hacked version and it lagged a lot (like freezing 100-200 ms each 3-5 seconds).

Re: LocalStorage Failed to save script data

Thanks for reporting. Turns out the IO operation thread was running in the wrong context (still from the ScriptAPI) in the released version. Fixed in a hotfix, so just update your game and it will work now.

Re: How did this Happen?

Don't post this in the bugs section, as we don't really see it as a bug. At least I don't. Hanging out up there seem fine. Just jump down again to continue fighting.

Re: Player Count Recovery is essential

We have never had many players during the Alpha or Beta period of the game. There are more servers now in average than Alpha or Beta. The game is slowly waking up as players find it. The old players you happened to play with that you know and like will move on, find other games to play and leave th...

Just clean out your SFD installation folder manually from any non-SFD .dll and .exe files.

Re: Hosting/joining LAN games without internet connection

I’m very inept in anything to do with technology, so take everything I say with a grain of salt, but I’m not sure why you would LAN this game when there is already local multiplayer. I’m assuming since your playing on two seperate computers you could simply unplug one of the keyboards into the comp...

Re: Superfighters Deluxe - LocalStorage

Will this system be a single growing file or there will be per-extension/map files? Data inside will be in binary of human-readable format? There will be one file per extension script and per map. It will be UTF8 encoded textfiles, one line per key-value with a little bit of special parsing. Should...

Re: Superfighters Deluxe - LocalStorage

Update: Added IGame.GetSharedStorage(..) to access shared storage which can be used to "talk" cross-scripts if you want. See the updated topic for some deeper summary and quirks.

Superfighters Deluxe - LocalStorage and SharedStorage

Superfighters Deluxe v.1.1.0 will introduce local storage which allows you in your map or script to store permanent data which is maintained between server restarts and between different map restarts. Previously you could only store a single string in the IGame.Data between map restarts. This was re...

Re: Planned ScriptAPI changes

As a result of a topic about colors handling for the IObject class we realized that there isn't a way to change a tile color through scripts. Nope, but it's already part of the planned ScriptAPI changes. No need to suggest it when it's already planned. ;) Sorry, I could've sworn to have not seen th...

Re: How do you make a TimerTrigger call a function inside of a Class

The simplest way is to use the Events.UpdateCallback function. Example: private class MyInnerClass { public int Counter = 0; } public void OnStartup() { MyInnerClass myClass = new MyInnerClass(); Events.UpdateCallback.Start((float t) => { myClass.Counter += 1; Game.ShowPopupMessage(myClass.Counter.T...

Re: Thrown items not hitting enemies.

Changes done after v.1.0.4. Hitting enemies with thrown items will hit enemies as long as the thrown item has enough velocity or the relative velocity is high enough, any of the two. This means that you can now throw items in the back of running away enemies as intended.

Re: What is with this white outline?

We transform magenta pixels (255, 0, 255) to transparent pixels automatically. So you could use MSPaint if you want.
